I caught the Apple vibe on February 28, 2002, at 8:35 PM (Give or take a minute) when I walked out of my Apple retail store with one of the first flat-panel iMac's.
Followed shortly thereafter by an iPod, three iBooks, and a Powerbook to outfit the entire family with Apple.
Why? Because Apple treated me like a king and made me feel "cool". Like I was part of their "insider's club".
