Microsoft's challenger (beta.search.msn.com) to Google looks pretty good. Design is gloriously clean.

Google is becoming worse and worse as a search engine as people have learned how to game their rankings system. There is real opportunity in this space for MSFT.

I am afraid there is no added value in comparison to Google. What additional features does Mr. Gates offer?.
No innovation means no success. Google was a brand new product. I am sure Google will sleep well tonight...

They're going to have to come up with a better BRAND name too.
"I 'MSN Search'd' you last night" just doesn't have the ring of "I googled you".
They need to get to the "verb level" of branding:
I google.
You google.
He/She/It googles.

Try typing out a question, like "What is the population of Vermont?" You will get an answer. Cool!

I thought the design was sparce and unbalanced. It felt like walking into an apartment with no curtains and blue shag carpet, I didn't feel like I wanted to go anywhere using that mode of transportation. Where do I want to go today? Google.
