Oil is about is a company called as ONGC. There expolarations drive is fareast India, which borders China.. so its a good handshake..into the right into Gobi desert (if required)!!

Oil is also about India's biggest private company, The Reliance Industries, which is starting to unravel after the death of its founder and the struggle for power between his two sons !
Sometimes it makes me wonder if Indian organizations which are family owned will ever become truly "professional" !
