Jennifer Rice of What's Your Brand Mantra has some pretty extensive notes from the Blog Summit, though she told me she lost a section when our network disappeared.

I'm sure you see the irony in the ephemeral nature of information nowadays, as exhibited by the fact that Jennifer lost a section of her presentation when the network hiccuped? Talk about the New World of Work, this is yet another reason why IT professionals will continue to have jobs well into the 21st Century, don't you think?
Finally, I couldn't agree with Jennifer more, as I work on establishing my own brand online and off. WIRED may report that brand is passe, but I bet that between your clothes, your luggage and your tech gear, you have at least two or three items that you bought because it was cool or trendy, not simply because it served a utilitarian purpose.

The "Summit" notes quoted below mention "manifesto" - I really radically hate "manifesto" as a term for some reason - prefer "testament".
And the New York Times reference is so funny - clearly nobody with an IQ above 80 credits the NYTimes with being anything except expensive fishwrap. About as honest as a Dan Rather quote.
The "bend over" part must be some "metro" talk that blue state voters thrive on.
"Robert talks about his corporate manifesto.
Rule #1: Tell the truth. Rule #2: Go public.
Build a great relationship network before you start blogging.
Treat anybody who blogs about you like they’re writing for The New York Times.
