Having left the National Health Service here in the UK after 35 years man and boy I now realise big is ugly

I now have no Working Parties, No Committees, No Forums, No IT Director, No Head of Communications, No Director of Human Resouces ... so the list goes on ...

Now all I have is me ...the buck stops here and I love it...

Angus' 3rd Law: For every "Economy" of scale there are at least two "Diseconomies" of scale.

Corollary: If you take into consideration quality and can make that part of the benefit/cost calculation, the ratio is closer to at-least-three "Diseconomies".

IMHO, P&G is not "buying" the Gillette company per se. They're after Gillette's brands.
