Monday Edition
Last night at the Academy Awards, according to AP, all the coolest people were arriving at the Red Carpet in something Green:
Celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron, Morgan Freeman, Tim Robbins, Orlando Bloom, Robin Williams, Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz were to arrive in environmentally conscious, fuel-efficient cars and SUVs as part of "Red Carpet-Green Cars" campaign, according to the Global Green organization."I'm an environmentalist for life," DiCaprio said.
Scarlett Johansson described her hybrid SUV as "very sexy inside and hip."

I'll believe DiCaprio is "an environmentalist for life" if, next year, he organizes a carpool for all his "green" friends: "Everyone meet at Hollywood High School...and the bus leaves at 6:30 PM sharp!"
Feel-good talk is cheap. Deeds matter.
