Above Board

The BusinessWeek 50 is out, and one very interesting segment is this listing of who is on whose board of directors.

Halley Suitt posted this on 04/12/05.

MORE ON POINT NOW TO ME - Maybe Tom should [MUST?] explain how the culture of Tom Peters, Inc. is evolving to include the almost NON EXISTENCE of Tom in the last 30 days as web logger - and into the future?

Did we miss a web log / manifesto that explains this? I came to see Curt Schilling and the Red Sox, and I'm getting Homer Simpson and the Albuquerque Isotopes [just kidding].

Remember Dr. Tom's Re-Imagine Manifesto:
"They say ... my (Tom's) language is extreme.
I say ... the times are extreme.
They say "Happy balance."
I say "Creative Tension."
They say "Peace, brother."
I say "Bruise my feelings. Flatten my ego. SAVE MY JOB."

Revolution Now! The free flow of RADICAL ideas is the United Kingdom [Trevor, et. al] / USA Ideology Norm and a must. TP, Inc. staff should support more radical ideas - the more the better. And I appreciate Mike's fabulous "out of the box, man" comments. EXPLODE THE TP SITE I SAY - TIME TO START ANEW - respect cyber privacy.

huh ??

I might just side with Sean on this one. Blog ethics normally calls for passive editing of comments (remove spam only) and active editorials and/or posting.

As for the issue about other bloggers posting here, then its an imperative that Readers understand that they have a choice.. to read or to walk away.

Its Tom Peter's Blog and his guest bloggers are always welcome. For those who don't understand and respect those facts, then its best that they dont comment, because that will be treated as Spam and I for one will then support removal of those comments.

Lets go back to TP Work Matters Manifesto (actually its titled "tomAtoTOMaTO" at changethis.com).

They say : “Respect everyone”
I say: “Respect only those who respect you”

..and now to get back onto Topic.

Halley : whose on whose board is best obtained by Filing of Form 144 to SEC.. !! :)- Its a totally different view point on BOD status !!!

Sean,
You were here before me! Nearly half way through April and still nothing from Tom. I know a blog is about interaction but when it's called Tompeters! ????

1. OK, I'll bite--WHY is it interesting?
2. Sam Nunn? Isn't he dead? I realize there are no qualifications for board jobs, but I think you should at least be alive. Well, I'm pretty sure, anyway.

Great stuff Sean/pd/Stuart

I have been thinking ....

In fairness ... Tom may be ill -let's just wait and see guys - I am pretty sure he will be back.

Maybe we will get an explanantion for Tom's absence in due course but maybe I will hold fire and not jump to conclusions that may be unfair to the great man

Take care all- great discussion

As regards the list - help - what am I supposed to be looking for?

Tevor
