These Lovely Days Of May

I've been thinking about what Tom wrote below about blogging overtaking his schedule and how he wants to cut back a bit. (See Factoid #2)

With the great weather finally arriving here in the Northeast, I'm trying to cut back on time in front of a screen and spend more time outside every day.

Wondering how you all manage to put some outside time into your days. It's not so easy and I'm finding if I don't plan it from the beginning of the day, it's evening all too soon and I've missed my chance.

Halley - I think it depends on where you live - here in the Santa Fe, Albuquerque area it is easy to make time for outdoors' FUN because the weather is fabulous, and with easy, fast commutes - the days seem longer.

Weekdays we like to run 3 miles 1st thing early morning - then walk a bit after dinner. Days off and weekends get radical - it is an OUTDOORFEST. Career in D.C. for 2 years cramped the old outdoor-style [so I feel for the city dwellers] - but luckily that is history!

Well this is certainly a safer subject than John O'Leary's Abusive Boss blog. Tea and cakes, anyone?

Yes, a bit more upbeat in tone than boss abuse, but that was a very interesting post and fascinating comments.

I'm going out for a walk. I talked myself into getting outside SOONER, not later, in the day.
