Good call, Trevor! Spurs me to take a walk in Glorious Flowering Hyde Park ... the hell with prepping for Warsaw, and besides I wouldn't want to be in dutch with Brussels.

Welcome to wonderful England - your trip would be complete if you could just fit in a Manchester United win in the FA Cup Final this coming Saturday :-)

My Mom-in-law, soon to be 80, was ushered to her native land, Grande Brittania, by my Anglophile spouse Susan last month. Mom-in-law is a gardener extraordinaire, and they spent a week wandering Cornwall in "garden heaven." Mom-in-law is old enough to have served in the _____ (Women in the RAF) at the end of WWII, and they made a pilgrimage to her old base.

You must mean The Eden Project in Cornwall - a fabulous project that started with a small grant of a few thousand pounds from the local parish council to become the most popular tourist attraction in the UK - all in less than 10 years.
Talk about Re-Imagine!! - The Eden Propject site was an old Tin Mine quarry that closed due to the down turn in the Cornish economy!
A real WOW Project Tom
Maybe you should write about it - why not contact the driving force of the eden Project Tim Smit.
Take a look at the Eden Project Web site http://www.edenproject.com/index.htm
And promise you will show your Mom this link!!
Warm regards
Trevor
