Essentials

We've been thrilled with the feedback we've been getting about the Essentials Series. Everybody who's written to us about the books appreciates their portability and getting a smaller dose of Tom's message in each one. Writing in the Miami Herald (18 July 2005. Note: Free registration is required), Richard Pachter gives them a great thumbs-up! Thank you, Richard.

Cathy Mosca posted this on 07/21/05.

I'm retired military. Spent 20 years in the combat arms 7 years of which were teaching leadership in the NCO academies and other schools. I am in the process of reading Tom's Leadership Essentials. Wonderful stuff and dead on correct. Should be required reading for everyone aware of and concerned about the volatility of today's business environment.

They are amazing. I have bought a box (not kidding) and we plan on giving the Design one out to all clients, friends and random strangers who pass through the Twist Image doors. You can even view my Blog posting about this book here:

Thanks Tom (and Cathy :)

Just got the 4 Tom Peters Essentials books last week from Amazon here in the UK.

Although I also have Re-imagine (which I have read a number of times), I would say that the Essentials are just that - ESSENTIAL.

There is great merit in producing the big book, but to be able to slip an Essential in your pocket and read it anywhere is great.

As always, the material "makes a dent in the universe". I would expect no less.

I am such a fan of this format, as I was the 50 List books of a few years ago. This helps us cut to the chase.

I hope there will be more in this format in the future. Also, give us some more 50 Lists !!

My recommendation is, whether you have Re-imagine or not, get the Essentials now - don't wait another minute.

Well done & thanks Tom !

p.s.

Digital download (ebooks) of this series would be fantastic - Any chance this might happen in the future ?

Love to use the "Design" Essential as frisbee for my high jumping, award winning Whippet dog, Dr. T. :>)

Go Sean! (That was exactly the point!)

Speaking of fine design - love the newish Dell Latitude D410 - 3.8 lbs - radically powerful - easy to take along - fun to play with:

Essential & almost frisbee potential - yes to being a bit deferential - hopefully this note is thread sequential.

Are you thinking to pubish some of your books in Spanish?? You have a lot of people in Spain that like your ideas.

Javier, our publisher tells me that they're currently working on having the Essentials Series translated into Spanish and those books will appear later this year.
