Saturday Edition
The American Society of Magazine Editors has chosen the Top 40 magazine covers from the last forty years. I'm thrilled to see that John Lennon graces No.1, while, no surprise, Demi Moore adorns No.2. Move down the list a bit, however, and find tied for No.37—Fast Company magazine featuring "The Brand Called You."

Lennon was an icon; he'll never be forgotten. Demi, well she does have her own certain level of recognition. But as soon as I saw the picture of that Fast Company cover, I remembered it like it was yesterday. Great cover and better content even after all the years. Glad to see the recognition though a tie for 37th place seems a bit understated.

Congrats Tom! Hopefully it renews interest in the content, not just the cover. Well deserved.

And Tom is right on point regarding Baby Boomers - the brand new October 24th "Love Those Boomers!" BusinessWeek Cover Story attests to that insight ...

Thinking about another posting about 'Slogans' maybe we should use the great John Lennon quote for all companies bogged down in planning "Life is what happens while we are busy making other plans"
