RTodd. Brilliant. Where were you when I needed you?

Don't be too impressed; I headed out for a speech in North Carolina yesterday and completely forgot my coat, shirt, tie, and pants. I did manage to bring my swimming suit but that would not have gone over too well. Hey, it did provide a great opening line if nothing else.

Saw Tom in Sydney. He turned on the lights and walked among us (both physically and figuratively). The message I heard:
A) "Decide! Be cheap or cool, there is nothing in between". Anyone who listened must now decide to be cool because China and Wal-mart have nailed cheap.
B) Re: Leadership: “The bottleneck is at the top of the bottle so
1. communicate a clear vision
2. decentralise
3. make people accountable with projects, milestones and rapid review.â€
= don’t wait to be pushed, jump off the cliff and FLY.
