I really love toms slides.......
BUT HE REALLY NEEDS TO WORK ON COLOR HARMONY AND COLOR SCHEMES....
I am happy to provide sources for inspiration...
colorblender.com would be a easy starting point, then there are several good books...
Anyhow, LOVING 50 tips for PSF's.
Best,
B.

Does TP want harmony - or does he intend to jar us with optical and cognitive dissonance?

VERY excellent! Thank you!

Mike L, optical dissonance. Actually I want serious emotional dissonant punch--that allows me to walk the floor (with 1,300 folks yesterday) with full lighting and my slides perfectly visible. I'd add that the AV guys love it, because it's not that muted background crap with graphs with 4-pt type.

Mike, "optical dissonance" is a great term--did you invent it?
Posted by tom peters at January 25, 2006 7:57 AM
Optical disonance--a great term indeed! And highly effective. The never knowing what comes next has kept me engaged (as has the message of course!) in person and it keeps me anticipating every slide as I click through them daily. More color. More surprises. More great thoughts. Keep 'em coming.

Kim, thanks. Cathy and I are always on the lookout for typos and screwup-os.!

Kim, thanks! I fixed that error in four of the files that were uploaded for this event, and I re-posted them. I appreciate the assistance in our ongoing efforts to keep tp.com typo-free.
