Tuesday Edition
Our Cool Friend Jason Fried and our old friend Jim Coudal gave the opening remarks at the South by Southwest conference in Austin (10-19 March). Here's the link to the podcast. Jim talks about creativity and design entrepreneurship, and he says, "The curious shall inherit the Earth." Jason talks about "less," and he says, "Don't quit your day job." It's stuff I think our readers would love to hear. It takes a while, but it's worth it. It's all very Tomesque.
[Tomesque = Word coined by Geoff Thatcher, now Creative Director at Carat Brand Experience, who got Coudal Partners to start our blog, way back when.]

Comments
I´ve heard great comments on SXSW, especially coming from bloggers. BTW, it´s great to know something about Geoff again. I hope he starts blogging one day.

Tomesque works for me - it means a set of attributes relating to TP?

Right. And, Felix, I think we might have neglected to say where Geoff went when he left us. He really was responsible for getting the blog going, and he kept it active in the beginning. And, as you can see, he's gone on to something good.

When will we finally get a TomCast?

Sean - As my last school report said - 'Trevor must improve - sets himself a low standard and fails to achieve it' :-)

Cathy, thanks for the information. I really feel very thanked to Geoff. I considered Tom as a god in the Olympus until he told me he had sent one of my e-mails to him. He did a great job at TP Company even before the Blog era. But, that´s life.

Trevor - I so get that - public grade school here tried to make me a welder - but I knew they were idiots at 8 years old - flash forward 14 years - #1 in MBA class ... revenge is mine I say :>} ... [now if only I could create TP like wealth!] ...

Well done Sean - There is surely no greater joy in life than doing something that people said you could not do :-)
