Hi Cathy
Interesting news on BBC Web Site this morning (Friday) about The Body Shop - I feel sort of sad about this. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4815776.stm
Anita Roddick is one of the greatest ever management gurus in my opinion - even though she 'doesn't do' traditional management. I love her style! – ‘Cage Rattler’ and ever the radical - good luck to her!
She proved you do not have to be a middle aged, middle class, white man in a suit to do management stuff successfully! And of course simplicity, common sense and pragmatism underpinned everything about her approach
Excuse me for 'gate crashing' this posting but I think folks might be interested in this one. Hope you don't mind :-)
