See Tom Live in London

What's your adaptation to the chaos going to be?

In Tom's consulting business, our clients tell us that times have never been tougher for them—competition has never been greater, and the environmental, social, and technological challenges we are all facing make the world of work a confusing, testing, and chaotic place to operate. Just how do we decide on the right approaches for the future?

For those who are looking for insights, energy, and optimism, Tom Peters continues to be a fabulous source from which to draw support. In the 24 years since In Search of Excellence, Tom has captivated audiences all around the world with his insights on the future through his speaking and writing. Demand for his ideas is as high now as it has ever been, with very good reason!

On 17 May 2006 in London, there is a rare opportunity to sign up to hear Tom present his latest ideas at a public event. Entitled "Finding Inspiration: A Masterclass in Corporate Excellence," the event provides you with the chance to soak yourself in a whole day of Tom's reflections and rants. You'll leave with a head full of ideas and a jolt to your system that is bound to kick you into some fresh and renewed action. Join the audience of over 400 people at the London Hilton Metropole for a roller coaster ride.

Visit www.benchmarkpeters.com for all the information you need to sign up for this 'not to be missed' occasion.

For €1315, I guess not! That's a bit too rich for the likes of me.

I'll stick to reading this blog, the powerpoint slides, asking questions, and commenting on posts here.

But it would be nice to see Tom in action.. :-)

We've had this one before...

Last time it drew busloads of 'quit whining' support for the pricing - I'm guessing mainly from folk who didn't attend.

Plus ca change?

Of course it's too expensive. So's a Mercedes. And organic yoghurt. etc.

;-)

Hey G: Good to see you are your old mischevious self!

How about Tom does a geek dinner when in London? Hugh Macleod of GapingVoid.com has arranged them for Seth Godin and Robert Scoble. Each had 100-150 people turn up. Very relaxed events at a cheapo Texan restaurant. Beer and wine flowing. They target a difft audience than the €1350 events - no corporate types but a lot of interesting entrepreneurial people. Much more likely to meet some Cool Friends at one of these. What d'ya think?

PS Saw Tom last time he came through London - well worth the money!

would love to come but cannot justify the spend! Will buy the book instead... cheaper, longer lasting, easier to reference etc etc.

Great stuff Gulliver!
All the best to Tom and the team and I look forward to reading feedback/impressions, and reviewing the slides. On the cost - for some the networking opps at the event are also a significant factor.
Happy Easter w/e all - we have two days of national holiday here in the UK. Wonder if Italy will have a President by next Tuesday?!

NOT "too expensive". The market sets the price point! Unique and of value enough and people beat a path to your HILTON door ...

Congratulations on a $500K+ super event - plus future revenue streams from this event.

over-hyped, over-priced, over and out.

To me, it's interesting how 'polarizing' this issue can get.

The last time it came round was http://www.tompeters.com/entries.php?note=008420.php and the pattern seems to repeat.

Honestly, who really gives a sh*t what the cost is or whom thinks what? It's a big world of free choice. ;-)

TP = 2 x Stephen Covey and the gang at http://www.redshop.biz/product.php?productid=394&cat=333&page=1 - seems to be about right!

I'm sure we could manage a geek dinner - great opportunity for Tom to show he's just as cool as Seth and Scoble...or not.

and...erm... there's another stimulating event at the Metropole on 17th May - http://www.socialmediaforum.co.uk/ (of course I'm involved - does that mean I can't plug it?)

Namby pamby poor attitude sports and entertainment "heros" make $1M - $100M per YEAR ... so a smart/hard working type like TP [and me] deserves whatever THE FREE Enterprise MARKET offers up I imagine.

I second Arun...€1315 is a lil’ luxurious for me. I would appreciate if Tom & Co could have a link on this site for the event (précis) web cast. Anyway, looking forward to the slides soon…am more than happy with the slides!

I got the Tom Peters Live in London CD for about $2 through amazon.com and pulled the archived slides from this event up while listening to it. Almost like being there!
