Strategic advantage has really changed given Chindia's acceleration on worldstage = them locking in long term liaisons and contracts and partnerships - perhaps more adept than USA quests for now - hopefully violence becomes obsolete.

Frustrating. Just as frustrating as when I see the list of speakers for one of these global leadership forums and they almost always are all men (Welch, Gladwell, Charan, Peters, etc.) or at least 90% male. Since you often are a part of that platform perhaps you can encourage them to think more inclusively in the future (if you aren't already doing so and I wouldn't be surprised if you are). I've made it a practice this year to not attend or be a plenary speaker if all the speakers are male.
