They haven't just fallen behind women. They have fallen behind changes in the job market."
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation's (Kansas City) annual "Index of Entrepreneurial Activity" finds that immigrants are starting new businesses at a rate that's about 25% higher than native-born Americans.

Notes from the woods... Interesting, and perhaps connected points in that post.. More future success of women and immigrants will lie in their abiltiy to break further into new niches beyond the soon to become extinct 'old economy' today failingly tied to cheap oil & gas.
