For all those who dont know what a 'manatee' is...
It is a large plant-eating mammal found in warm Atlantic coastal waters. It has front flippers and a broad flattened tail. Genus: Trichechus

Tom,
I was at the DSA meeting. I really enjoyed your presentation. It was very insightful.
Thank you.

So, of course, it makes perfect sense to have a Manatee road-sign.
Is it a caution sign because the state doesn't want you to lose your personal vegetation collection should you decide to bring it into the water with you? Or is the manatee inclined to cruise out of the water and over to the local resort for a drink?
Sorry, I just think the sign is a little funny.
