Oh, I just love this blog. I almost fell off of my chair when I went through the "209" PPT.

"8:00p.m. CST/Ma'am you really need to go home. You have been here all day and your father is just fine. We will take some additional tests in the morning when everyone is fresh. Let our professionals do their job.

9:30p.m. CST Same day after 40 minute ride home.
Ma'am we need a family member to the hospital immediately. Your father has died and we don't know why."

Professionals at what??? I'm also anxious to hear your feedback on this one.

I hope they were receptive. As a lifelong Michigan resident, I appreciate Tom's efforts to improve healthcare in our state and everywhere else.

Mackinac Island is one of our state's (many)treasures. Hope Tom enjoyed it. The island practically forces a person to exercise--very hilly terrain and no motor vehicles allowed! Nicely groomed trails around the 10 mile circumference of the island offer gorgeous views, wildlife encounters, etc. Makes me want to go right now!

I know that there are a lot of proponents for revamp/improved Health Care on this blog. I'm at a conference in Seattle (Gnomedex) at the moment and just came across this healthtech blog that you might find intereting and helpful in terms of making the industry more efficient!
