Did you call and let them know that these items mean so much to you? If they get enough feedback, then perhaps there is hope.

Matt's words are precisely the case. L.L. and pseudo-nephew N.I.S. are, like so many others, being allowed to remain in the market place not based upon difference making goods, sound execution or filling a vacant niche. They're there based upon reputation. Reputation based upon the past and current reality are often sadly disconnected.

Funny, I recently had the same experience. Ordered 3 items, and 2 of them were N.I.S.
And, I disgree about having to call and say how much items mean to someone. I don't think one would have ordred them, if they didn't want them. Many people treat these instances as "business as usual". Like Tom, it always dissapoints me!
