Event: Mass Mutual

Yes, Tom's working on this beautiful summer weekend day, and so am I. But not for long. He's in Washington D.C. speaking to Mass Mutual Financial Group, and I'm going out in the sun as soon as I finish this post. There are three slides presentations for downloading:
Mass Mutual Final
Mass Mutual Long #1: 249 slides
Mass Mutual Long #2: 482 slides

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Cathy Mosca posted this on 07/29/06.

Hope the Mass Mutual Presentation is rewarding!

Tom, Trevor and everyone else who understands the beauty of simplicity in design and function; I thought that you would like this post from Prezentation Zen that I came across today. Enjoy!

Wonderful - thank you for that link Tom 'O' - What beautiful Simplicity!

I always say 'Complexity is merely the sum of simple parts.'

I just wish we could get business schools and professionals to abandon complex language and jargon - that is my mission.

I saw this recently and just had to write it down :-)

'It's pretty much a given that empowerment of staff interacts synergistically with change management in increasing the visibility of key business metrics.'

Can someone pass me my medication???!!!!

NIKE 360 RUN SHOES IS where it is at baby! Simplicity author above in ERROR & of course "Trevor" falls for the trap ...

Complexity of NIKE tech & design wins the day - injury free running 20+ years - plus specific DESIGN for moi ... TL3-4 Nike SHOX = flat pave shoe specific NOT trail/grass ... semi-lame author knows not ... :>}

Minimalism rules - "simplicity" is so 20th ccentury/Taliban baby - EVEN Mr. O'Leary knows that in his Bellingham area Lux DIGS!

Tom O'Leary, thanks for the link to a good story. It's an excelent cautionary tale on one of our favorite topics, design.

Somehow I knew that the TP crew would like Presentation Zen. I love it. One of their recent posts linked to videos of the big biz gurus doing their thing (Our Tom, Seth Godin and Guy Kawasaki). You can find that one here: http://presentationzen.blogs.com/presentationzen/2006/06/biz_gurus_prese.html

I'm so minimalist Sean that we've been living in our new lakeview home with no furniture since July 3rd! Well, I lie; we have a double matress on the floor in our room and just got a dining table from my wife's brother in Victoria! My minimalism is mostly financial at the moment though! C'est la vie.
