Just noticed the shadow font. It certainly looks more powerful ...

Shadow font? -- I like the "Chiller" font in the slides!

I had the good fortune to be in the audience in Austin. Tom Peters is an amazing speaker. For 90 minutes he had the crowd of 200 hanging on his every word. He has seen more in the business world in 30 years than most will see in a lifetime, and he is a true champion of small business.

For 63 years old he has more energy than most half his age. I highly recommend that if you have never seen Tom speak, that you get to a presentation (over half of his talks are out of the USA).

While in Austin he got to see the bats fly out of the downtown bridge (a popular tourist attraction in the Texas Capital).,,,, Just one of the reasons that the shirt he got says "Keep Austin Weird".

Thom: You are lucky to have seen Tom speak -- I wish I had been in Austin to see him. Tom? Ever coming back to Palo Alto?

On the "Keep Austin Weird" T-shirts -- I had a trial in Austin a couple of months back and, when I was leaving town and wanted a souvenir, I considered getting one, but I had seen them so maany times that they didn't seem so "weird" anymore -- so I passed. I did get one of those stuffed bats, though.

I was also in Austin during the big motorcycle rally in late May. Everytime I remember seeing all of the dentists from Ohio in their leather gear, I think of Tom's quote from the Harley exec: "What we sell is the ability for a 43-year-old accountant to dress in black leather, ride through small towns and have people be afraid of him."

YES - the look and FEEL of the slides has radically IMPROVED - unsure how and why.

Enjoyed using the Down Arrow to rapidly go through the Long Version in 30 seconds - a bit of adrenaline rush.

Sean--I tried that and my pacemaker shorted out and I had an epileptic seizure.

The "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" splatter fonts don't go with the message well, but otherwise the look is evolving pretty well, methinks.

A viewing--that keeps you in the face of all your multi-tasking--is the best test. Well done.
