Saturday Edition
When I got back from my seminar in Barcelona, the dusk was approaching. I quickly changed and hit the streets—in search of Gaudi. I did the "male thing" ... and refused to ask for help. Hence, both I and my Sony DSC-11 zeroed out.
Alas.
(Guess I'll have to come back. Which is a great idea.)

I had a day there. My son & his girlfriend fell out & wouldn't speak to one another. I need to go back as well.
Too much to take in for one day.

Aah. Yes...the male thing. I can truly identify with that. That inner voice saying.."I can find it...I've always had a good sense of direction. Seeking help is for wimps!"
My beloved and I took our first trip together to Barcelona 20 years ago-so its a city that holds indelible happy memories.Sangria-siestas.Wonderful

Not a Gaudi fan from the aesthetic POV
(would I want it in my living room? No)
but I do give him points for creativity
and making Barcelona so very distinctive.
So many people play it so very safe.

The man thing, yeah that's gets me lost lots of times. However, it also helps me find some great things that you never would know are there if you follow the tourist trails.
On another subject as Tom is into design. Please look at Confederate Motorcycles site at www.confederate.com great design and a fantastic emotive mission statement.
Regards,
Gary

Running in Berlin at 0600 I did the easy thing and immediately said "Hilton, Hilton" to strangers - given that I was lost and needing the hotel shower.
