Sunday Edition

"It" is happening! Again! For us Northern Hemisphere denizens coiled in our various corners ... the Sun fell to its knees, gasped, twitched, and began to Arise at 0022AM GMT 22 December (Universal Time), 722PM EST 21 December, 422PM PST 21 December. One micrometer at a burst ... Darkness is being Vanquished. Congratulations S.A.D.ies for having survived another one! Susan and I tipped a glass and listened to the Beatles melodiously declare that "here comes the sun" and "things are getting better all the time"!

And the Beatles changed everything for BB'ers - especially TG who still claims to be the "5th Beatle".

And I thought it was only me who felt like this!
PS I must be missing something here. Stuart Sutcliffe and/or Pete Best are the 5th Beatle

The Beatles, Lord Nelson, Ernest Shackleton, Montgomery ... there is a wonderful ‘Brit’ sounding feel to this comment ... and by the way Sean … Fifth Beatle? - I was in fact the first :-)
Happy Christmas to all my 'buddies' (Blimey old chap I am even sounding American now - Basil Fawlty will never forgive me!!)
Another wonderful year of Blogging on TP site – seasonal love and best wishes to you all from the greatest country in the world on the right hand side of the pond.

What a beautiful photo...lately I have been getting up early just to see the sunrise..it is such a beautiful sight...I wanted to thank you Tom Peters for all the gifts you have bestowed upon your readers this year. Your inciteful thinking and thought provoking debates have been so much fun to read and even though I don't contribute all the time, I have thoroughly enjoyed the comments by all your friends. Happy New Year and Best Wishes.

Amen, and best wishes to all in '07.
Seems half of us in this part of VT were lucky to catch that one...litterally painted in pink if you walked outside to greet the fresh cool morning! And then the mackeral sky of the afternoon...

There are varying accounts on the Web of the exact time of the winter solstice, but all sources have something interesting to say. The majority give the time as 7:22, however, so we feel that is correct. You can look at these and decide for yourself, if you like:

And how did I get four links up? I can approve comments myself, of course.
