Jens - thanks for the office reminder! Lovely TP office - hardwood, large windows, spacious, upper level view, brick accents, huge book cases, Wheaties, Starbucks - hey is that Mylanta?
TP - disagree with Eleanor - people too easily jump on olde quotes as being cool - really feel it though & it has negative value.
Research is showing those of us with healthful seratonin & endorphin levels are averse to scares ... seeking joy & fun & clean organic chemistry ...
Type T [thrillseeker] personality and addicts / junkies / criminals / manics - and substance abusers seek "scares" to get the rush because their seratonin & endorphin is difficient. Passion may come on little cat feet.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every
experience in which you really stop to look fear in the
face. You are able to say to yourself, “I lived through
this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.â€
You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

To look in the mirror every day and ask ... did you try hard enough?

Mine will be the same as it has been for the last few years: if a thing's worth making a resolution about, you probably ought to do it straight away.
