Thursday Edition
Our Cool Friend Robert Scoble was in the audience at the Inc. event and met Tom for the first time yesterday in San Francisco. Tom wore him out. Read Robert's account of his time with Tom.
Before blogging became all the rage, Tom was posting book reviews and Observations (essentially early blog posts) to this site. You can find the archives below.

It was really interesting to read Robert’s account of meeting Tom. I met Tom in May 2006 in London. Tom may be outspoken, brash loud and demonstrative when ‘performing’ but like Robert I found Tom to be quiet, considerate, caring and humble. What sticks with me is that he had no reason to meet me and yet invited me to do so. One sign I think of someone still grounded.

Tom,
Glad you made it to San Francisco- I'm proud to live in this fabulous city. Although I didn't attend your presentation, I've reviewed your slides and read Scoble's post on your visit.
Your colors and spirit always inspire me and you are definitely spot on with your words of wisdom on women taking more control. Thanks for being in our corner and keep up your great work.

Erik, thanks for the tip. It was fun to discover Scoble's video blog -

- which could be the next step for us?

I should be some embarrassed. I saw both Roberts and Tom in action in San Francisco yet spoke with neither in person. The Roberts woke me up to the blog world and I've read every book my Mr. Peters.
Now I find myself struggling to be brutally honest with myself about myself (Brand Me) and on top of that, to put that up for the whole world (delusions of grandeur) to see.
Thanks to all for the trifectionate motivation.
Jeroen.
