Tom - Enjoyed the audiobolg entry. Reminded me of one of your earier posts about how much care you take to edit your written entries. Nailing the spoken ones is harder first time out, but the upside is the gain from the vocal emotion. A lot of excellence / quality is small and local eg. the driver. Enjoy the trekking!

Enjoy your trekking.

I loved it! I know Ralph's and I love when you show us how Excellence surrounds...you catch people doing things right! Have a great vacation.

1. Once we hear one on SF & Summer of Love 2007 - then we'll really have something ... :>]
2. Love it of course - le artiste in all of us must be "excellence" cultivated
3. In a similar way [5 am morning run] - as usual neighbor dogs talking to me & mocking me [my cool run style] ... but I now seem to tune in to the "excellence" of their energetic envy

Great video blog - nice to hear your tone of voice in a post, although I often hear you talking in my head when I'm reading anyway (am I the only one?). Having had an uncle who was a trucker I share your awe of the "art" of maneuvering those big semis. I've seen them squeeze into an alley with inches to spare. It's awesome to watch so I'm not surprised you were mesmerized. Your "excellence" radar was definitely up and I appreciate that we got to hear your reaction instead of reading it. Thanks for giving me a great start to my Monday.

You are a brilliant guy ahnd obviously many of us in the world look to you for inspriation and ideas...I love the idea of watching an activity and seeing an artful moment. I do think the audio blog could be a little shorter, unless you are trying to keep us on the site longer for a reason or see how many folks will stay 5 minutes or more. Thanks for always trying someting new....

I'm struck by the fact that this audio blog will stay with me in a deeper part of the brain that would have a textual blog on the same topic.

It's a bit hesitant and you sound very much as though you're thinking out loud but it's a good first shot at Podcasting. How about 5 minutes every week? Maybe go through your "100 Tips" and develop / update them?
BTW, the "audio blog" is now in my iTunes library and you sit between the Tom's Jones and Petty: 3 titans, one after the other!

Tom,
Very motivating. I am currently writing my third book and it motivates me to do the best job possible.
Happy Travels,

Tom -- this is the first audio posting I have seen in the 20+ blogs I read. First, I love the passion in your voice and interesting story -- audio = fabulous inflection. It's an interesting approach and I would say to do it more. If you want one suggestion -- I would liken to voicemail and try to keep to 2 minutes without losing your raw extrapenous nature. Happy blogging, Tom and thanks for sharing everyday!

Congratulations Tom!
This takes me back to the great inspiration I have had from listening to your tapes/CDs in the car.
I think you should take 'Sargent Susan's' orders to heart though and not even think about using this technology to bend the rules - have a great and restful holiday!

Loved the audioblog! Please consider doing more - I listen to podcasts on my drives to/from work. How cool would it be to hear TP on my daily drive!?
