Tuesday Edition
Tom is in Minneapolis, where, he reports, the temperature has gone from the 90s to the 30s in the space of a week. He is speaking to the gurus of packaging, AICC, the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters, "an association of independents for independents" in the corrugated industry, providing services to help its members strengthen their bottom line. If you were there, let us hear from you. If you want the slides, you can get them here.

I have been a HUGE Tom Peters fan since reading Excellence when it came out in 82. I was at Control Data at the time and management handed out copies of the book to all exempt employees. I still use the term MBWA when I float about the office. In the late 90's Seagate handed a copy of Pusuit of WOW to all current and future members of Core Design Teams. I have followed him off and on for the past 25 years. Had nver seen him before.
Tom was absoultely stunning here in Minneapolis on Wednesday. His wit and straight forward speak about business and people was very enjoyable for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tom's presentation today at the AICC meeting in Minneapolis. I am a supplier to the corrugated industry. My company creates graphics, makes printing plates and cutting dies for all types of packaging. I couldn't agree more with Tom's comments about women in business and in general. I'm just not sure I'm ready for the one running for President!
Thanks again for a great presentation!

I enjoyed Tom's topics and insights on leadership in Minneapolis. I also scrolled down through your website and enjoyed the story about Kubota and Deere(you can never have enough gear for working the land). If products are fairly equal (in our business they are for the most part), service is what will seperate the great from the average. I am going to share that story with our sales and customer service group to show the power a single person can have on the relationship and future business prospects with customers. It is all about the relationship, no matter what finance says. Thanks for the tool.

Tom - your presentation and the preparatory effort was very much appreciated. As someone in your age bracket I learned and I grew - and that's what its all about isn't it?
Thanks much,
Dirk
