Thursday Edition
Cool Friend John Maeda, formerly of MIT's Media Lab, was appointed the new president of Rhode Island School of Design, on December 21, 2007. You can get the details at BusinessWeek.com. Not surprisingly, the announcement at the RISD website looks great. John, we'd like to add our congratulations to all those you've doubtless received already!

John Maeda is both refreshing and insightful
as is his monologue / video
on RISD's site (watch it and see).
He will be a great catalyst for creativity.
I wish him great luck and good times at RISD.

That's Great! Yes Art is a uniting medium. And infusing art or expressing art in technological creations does take it to a level that goes beyond just emotions; to me it becomes spiritual in a different sense.
John Congratulations.
