Yes 1,000 times over...use the inspiration around you- but go visit the Lincoln Museum in Springfield. Last week I took my (impressionable) kids. Solid, mesmerizing, humbling and downright inspirational! Never stop believing in yourself has a poster child in A. Lincoln.
(also, the Tim Russert commentary section is great).

Giving up is too easy! Life is about having challenges put in front of you and pushing through when times are difficult.
It builds character!

Sometimes we won't succeed until we give up doing things that make us fail. But here we have a question of focus. People confuse the problem with a failing solution. Jettison the "solution" and try again with a different way of attacking the problem. Notice we did give up - we gave up trying to do it that way. But we did not give up our goal.

Thanks TP for the reminder of those who have given the ultimate price, not giving up but putting out in a strange place. (We have much to appreciate, much to be grateful for.) What brave young men they were - mostly sons, high school sweethearts. They did not give up.
This has been my mantra for years:
Never
never
never
give
up.
