Sunday Edition

Tom's tour of the Baltic states continues in Tallinn, Estonia, where he's again appearing for Baltic Management Conferences. This is a part of the world that Tom has not spent much time in before now, and I know he must be enjoying meeting new people there. If you were at the event, please let us hear from you in the comments. Or, get the PowerPoint presentation here.
[Tom re the photo, above: "Tallinn, Estonia, still not Spring—my plane approaches the city." If it helps ... it's not quite Spring in Vermont, either.]

Please correct spelling on the slide about Conrad Hilton - it has a 'you' that should be 'your'. It's the editor in me sorry - If I were a surgeon my work would be flawless!

Dear Tom,
thank You for yesterday! I completely agree with You regarding HR and Blue Ocean. What comes to Big Organizations - I know some brilliant people (not ididots ;)), working for them...
Vello, happy owner of Your autograph.

Dear Tom,
I just wanted to say big big thanks once again for yesterday and the work we did together. Fascinating. Should you have any more feedback on the event yourself or whatever, please write to me toomas.tamsar@konverentsid.ee.
And the sky is blue so I trust you have a lovely ferry trip to Finland.
warm regards
Toomas

Mr. Peters,
A great seminar in Tallinn yesterday. This Kentuckian has been practising what you preach in the Baltics for several years and although I work for one of the FTSE 100's largest firms I have been fortunate to maintain an entreprenurial spirit with much business and personal success among a Team of 22 great people. You are correct-- Focusing on the basics of treating people like people, empowering, engaging and trusting will "bring home the bacon" more times than not!
Thanks and regards,
Rick Collins

Slide 4 of Tallinn presentation "…never talke4d about cars." Should be "talked", I guess.
And coming from a design-centric company (Skype) I have to confess that while Tom Peter's session was entertaining and inspiring as expected, I wasn't very impressed with the design of the slideshow itself. I buy the "We are all designers." slogan, but sometimes it pays to get a real designer to help out and make the whole thing simply look better.
Cheers.

I am a bit concerned Tom is running around Europe unsupervised & the G20 summit is this weekend! :>)
PS - check out the Jim Collins cover story interview in the April Inc. Magazine - crazy & futuristic & insightful!

My butt still hurts, but Tom's viral insights are still popping in my mind the day after the event, especially about leadership values. I would go a step further on leadership and argue that we need to adopt a more common normative framework to assess leadership in institutions and people. We are seeing and accepting way too much leadership failure these days! Go get 'em tom!

I liked the presentation. One funny thing was the script of slides. It seems that people like the script of their youth. Showcard Gothic was used quite a lot in 60-s movies. But its fine.

I've been looking at the photo now for two days. It's really cool! Thanks!
