Monday Edition

Tom's ferry voyage took him to Helsinki, where he had a presentation today. Please leave us a comment if you were there, and you can get the PPT slides here. Pictures from the trip are above and below. As you can see, it's a long way from Spring in Helsinski, also. Additional photos are at Flickr. Brrr!

Tom,
Thank you for the wonderful seminar!
You said before lunch that if six people out of the audience took your ideas and thinking seriously, your trip across two ponds would've been worthwhile. Well, you've made a believer out of me, at least. And I'm pretty sure there are more than five others that feel the same way, too.
Very best regards,

Dear Tom
I was encouraged that you'd had 'a one in five experience' in Helsinki - one of the 20% of seminars in which you felt like you'd had fun with friends.
It also seemed to me that you had some kind of cathartic experience; certainly I feel you made an intense and personal connection with the audience (which in Finland is not the easiest thing to do).
In short, then, I'm grateful to have seen you in action. It's been a while since I first came across your work, but your energy is legendary, and it's real!
all the best,
