Sleep In ...

Our friend Tom Asacker counters in a Comment with this wonderful piece of quasi-Haiku:

Sleep in tomorrow.
Unplug.
Take a walk in the woods.
Don't try to figure out a damn thing.
Breathe.
Make a whistle from an acorn top.
Say, "You are very lucky. Be at peace." At least a dozen times.
Be invisible.
Be of open heart.
Catch a fish.
Or not.
Repeat weekly.

Presumably the two lists could be used together. I think so. Don't know what Tom A's view is—or yours.

Beautiful! The two lists can used together for sure! Thanks, Tom A!

Make yourself visible.
Be invisible.

Together, these two lists make an excellent example of the simultaneous "loose-tight properties" that one needs to master, to thrive in 21st century life and business.

Brilliant - Why not copyright the two lists under a new brand name 'Tom-Tom' :-)

Sincere 'thank you' to two of my gurus!

I LOVE the idea! There is no dark without light. No work without rest. No downs without ups. No meaningful passion without compassion. "Dynamic Equilibrium: The Secret to Success in an Age of Turbulence." Quick! Call your publisher. :)

Sleep in ... to 5 am after 6 hours perfect REM sleep.
Then try easier & relax into wealth & superior health.
A smart career yes - labor intense hard work no - except for masochists of course :>).

No.

If you are not, you have my sympathies.

There are many great writers of antiquity to whom Shakespeare is indebted. It is the extremity of the "we" and the sense that we are all so indebted to the exclusion of many other great writers, east and west, that struck me as peculiar. Shakespeare, though, is without doubt a favorite of many among other great writers before and since. No sympathy needed; my troth is full.
