Wednesday Edition
First there was the picture of Bernie Madoff that looked a lot like Tom Peters and now there's a guy named Tom Petters (2 T's!) who is garnering the fraud headlines by trying to hustle non-existent DVD players. We here at tompeters.com just wanted to make sure there was no confusion between Petters and Peters. Our Tom is winging his way to Shanghai, where he'll be speaking over the weekend.
Before blogging became all the rage, Tom was posting book reviews and Observations (essentially early blog posts) to this site. You can find the archives below.
What we're talking about

I live in Tom Petter's stomping grounds and have run into this issue when recommending Tom's book Re-Imagine. The reaction was something along the lines of why would I want to read a book by that guy when he had defrauded so many for billions?! LOL

I remember the good "Thomas J." times way back in 82.

I recently had an event where invitations were sent which emanated from a database (I didn't screen the list until after the fact). I was lucky enough to send the invitation to the Tom with 2Ts in his last name. I wish I had invited the Tom with 1T instead. The 2T Tom was a no show - thank goodness.
Tom with 1T, would you appreciate an invitation the next time around?
