Not crying at the loss of Portfolio. Some very good writing. Don't need a glossy celebration of business at the moment.

Yeah, I'm not crying about that BUT I AM CRYING that Wall Street banks are "making" a profit, having NOT been required to make some major changes to avoid such a collapse in the future, not to mention that bailout banks lobbied against the interest of the people who gave them BILLIONS and yet got self-interested-lame arse-old-guard-gray-haired male Republicans AND Democrats to vote against the righteous bill proposed by Dick Durbin to protect homeowners against further foreclosures. Foreclosures are up by 32% since April 2008.
Dick Durbin was right: "THE BANKS OWN THE SENATE." ENOUGH! I'M CRYING BECAUSE I'M MADE AS HELL!
And speaking of self-interested lame arse-old-guard-gray-haired Repulicans, what's up Dick??? He is NOT speaking out because he fears for the United States. He fears for himself. If he so cared, why isn't he speaking directly to the President? This guy has been behind scenes for the past eight years and now his menacing face is popping up everywhere! I really was against prosecuting members of the former adminstration. But now I say prosecute Dick especially just for the hell of it! I'm ticked!

Portfolio & a lot of magazine/newspaper hard copy is leaving us as people 'net & social media along. Interesting though - a Portfolio January 2007 article predicting the Bear Stearns & other financial collapses keyed me to move fast early with my portfolio - thanks Portfolio - RIP :>).

I am not for TomChirps because it xlutters up my reader - unlike twitter where you can ignore tweets I am actively engaged (time & energy) to get rid of the 'micro post'
A blog is for saying something worthwhile and if it isn't we shouldn't.
Sorry to disagree with you great man
