I've been fooling around with a lot of formats for recent events in the likes of Luanda, Riyadh, Dhahran, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Toronto. I've also been folding some of the stuff in the new book into my presentations. For my own use, I created a 525-slide monster I titled "Mini-MASTER." Here it is, FYI.
Before blogging became all the rage, Tom was posting book reviews and Observations (essentially early blog posts) to this site. You can find the archives below.

Yes, "Ready, Fire, Aim" !
But only if you really are Ready. Otherwise you squeeze the trigger with no ammunition in the gun, and then all the aiming on earth will not help you ...

Tom,
U Da Man!
I'm sure all of your "mini-me's" will be as grateful as I am for your "Mini-MASTER!"
Thanks so much for my early Christmas gift!

Happy Birthday Tom!
My Dad shares the same birthdate! He was born in 1912... and was believed to be the oldest full time working viticulturist in Australia when he retired at the age of 96 in early December 2008.
He always instilled excellence in us - in everything we did. He loved his work and continued learning and trying new innovations -- he travelled to Italy at the age of 88 to catch up on new procedures - took courses and stayed there for 6 months to complete them!
He continued to work part time and drove his car right up to January this year (2009). He decided to stop driving as he felt he had driven us around for years and now it was our turn to chauffeur him around!
From watching our Dad - we know that if you love what you do and have the opportunity to keep on doing it - you'll find it very hard to retire!
Here's hoping you continue to love what you do Tom, even if you move in a different direction as a writer, consultant and Talking Head, etc. Take a break and enjoy your 67th!
